Medicare Advantage Plans ( Part C)
Medicare Advantage plans, also known as Part C, are a type of health insurance offered by private insurance companies. These bundled plans provide all the benefits of Original Medicare, including hospital and medical coverage, but often include additional benefits such as dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage.
By law, Medicare Advantage plans must provide at least the same level of coverage as Original Medicare. In fact, many plans offer even more benefits and services, making them a popular choice for those looking to get more out of their healthcare coverage.
Medicare Advantage plans are an excellent option for those who want to simplify their healthcare coverage by combining all their benefits into one plan. Plus, many plans offer low or even $0 monthly premiums, making them an affordable option for those on a budget.
At the Bullock Agency of Wyoming, we specialize in Medicare Advantage plans and are dedicated to helping our clients find the plan that best fits their unique healthcare needs and budget. Contact us today to learn more about how Medicare Advantage plans can benefit you.
Medicare Supplement Plans (Medigap)
Medicare Supplement plans, also known as Medigap, are private insurance policies designed to help cover the out-of-pocket costs not covered by Original Medicare. These plans are sold by private insurance companies and can be used in conjunction with Original Medicare.
Medigap plans are standardized, which means that each plan offers the same benefits regardless of the insurance company you choose. These plans range from Plan A to Plan N. The only difference between plans is the cost and the insurance company providing the plan.
Medigap plans can help cover costs such as deductibles, copays, and coinsurance, giving you peace of mind knowing that you have coverage for your healthcare expenses. Some plans also offer coverage for services not covered by Original Medicare, such as foreign travel emergency coverage.
Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D)
Medicare prescription drug plans, also known as Part D, are a type of insurance designed to help seniors and those with disabilities cover the cost of prescription drugs. These plans are offered by private insurance companies approved by Medicare.
Part D plans can be added to Original Medicare, as well as some Medicare Advantage plans, to provide coverage for prescription drugs. Plans vary in coverage, cost, and formulary, which is the list of drugs covered by the plan. However, all Part D plans must provide at least a standard level of coverage determined by Medicare.
Enrolling in a Part D plan can help lower the cost of prescription drugs and provide peace of mind knowing that you have coverage for your medications. Many plans also offer additional benefits such as mail-order delivery and medication therapy management programs.
